ADAPTIONS MADE TO DECK CRANE
A new cabin and putting a new jib head on the boom, were the most eye-catching aspects of a partial overhaul of a Dreggen deck crane for one of our clients.
MIT has delivered a more-or-less standard crane cabin and placed it on the deck crane at an adapted foundation. Also a new boom head including all shafts and bearings for the cable sheaves were reconstructed in the Netherlands and onboard welded on. In addition, all the mechanical parts for crane travelling were newly delivered by MIT and installed onboard under our supervision.
Preparations and deliveries have taken place in/from the Netherlands and the assembly work onboard in Singapore.
